How to Join

The first step is to attend a meeting of Flotilla 12-09. An experienced Auxiliarists will guide you through the application process and will connect you with a Mentor who will walk you through the application process one step at a time. The process includes a background security check by the Department of Homeland Security.

The Coast Guard Stations at Indian River Inlet, Delaware.

CG Auxiliary 12-09 meets at the Indian River Coast Guard station on the second Tuesday of each month. The entrance to the Coast Guard Station is on the north side of the Indian River bridge on Route 1, between Dewey Beach and Bethany Beach.

Road construction has been on-going for the new Indian River bridge, so follow the temporary road signs to the U.S. Coast Guard Station and the North Marina.
